About Northshore Speech Therapy

North Shore Speech Therapy is a busy Speech Pathology practice with two North Shore Locations. Our Chatswood Office is situated in the heart of Chatswood at 7/56 Neridah St. Our Hornsby office is directly opposite Hornsby Hospital emergency department at 2/41 Palmerston Rd.

North Shore Speech Therapy prides itself on having highly skilled staff and modern therapy equipment, assessment tools and computer resources. We measure our success by our client’s success so we strive to provide optimum care for all clients.

The practice has a reputation of excellence and continues to grow largely from word of mouth referrals.

Speech Pathology Services

Our Speech Pathologists offer general Speech Pathology services such as the assessment and treatment of children with a range of communication disorders including difficulties with:

• early language
• articulation/phonology
• preschool through to school aged language (comprehension & expression)
• dyspraxia
• voice
• stuttering
• listening and attention
• literacy

The centre also runs regular group therapy sessions, these groups include:

• social skills
• school readiness
• listening and attention
• pre reading and literacy
• news and story telling

There are currently seven Speech Pathologists, who work at the centre. Each therapist is experienced with the assessment and treatment of general communication disorders as well as having their own specialist skills in various areas; including: early communication, developmental delay, paediatric feeding, auditory processing, social skills, school age language and literacy (reading and spelling).

Access:
There is a ramp that allows easy access to people with strollers and those requiring wheelchair access. Once through the glass doors, take the lift up to Level 2. Look left as you step out of the lift and you will see the centre.

Parking:
Neridah Street has plenty of metered parking. The Chatswood Chase carpark has 3 hours FREE parking and is only a 2 minute walk away.
