Exciting School Holiday Programmes
1) Reading, Spelling & Writing Intensives (1:1 intervention – not groups)
Want to spend quality time with your child and not have to battle over homework tasks?
Why not enroll your child in one of our Reading , Spelling and Writing Intensives. We do the hard work for you and ensure that your child is having fun at the same time!
The intensives run daily and are extremely popular with our literacy clients. The unique opportunity for daily 1:1 instruction provides a concentrated burst of learning, specifically targeted towards your child’s problem area. The results are great and by the time holidays are over, your child will have built up their literacy skills for when they return to school.
2) Social Skills Groups (maximum 8 clients per group - 2 therapists & 1 trained assistant)
- • Greetings
- • Maintaining a conversation
- • Joining a group
- • Being Confident
- • Sharing & Taking Turns
- • Avoiding bullying
- • Problem Solving
- • Giving Compliments
*The skills listed above are some of the skills that may be targeted in our Social Skills Groups. Each group is tailored to suit the participants enrolled, so the chosen skills will vary depending age of participants, length of group and requests made upon enrolment.

3) Early Reading & Spelling Groups (Kindergarten and Year 1 students)
Catching literacy difficulties early can make a huge difference to your child’s overall education and attitude towards learning. Don’t let early difficulties turn into later problems; we can help your child understand the relationship between sounds, letters, words and spoken language.
- • Firming up letter-sound knowledge (phonics)
• Vowels a, e, i, o, u and early digraphs ‘ee’ ‘ea’ ‘th’
• Spelling & reading strategies (Phonemic Awareness)
• Sorting out b/d confusion (if required)
